Gweneth Stevenston has been rejected ever since she could remember. Her pack would insult her, call her fat and ugly, pester her in school, and destroy her self-esteem, even her brother. Her parents wouldn't stop it either. They didn't like her and would introduce her as the packs maid instead of as their daughter. Gwen didn't care because she figured on her 18th birthday she would find her mate and he would sweep her into his arms and take away all the pain that shes had in her life.
She couldn't be more wrong. She does find her mate, and he just happens to be the next in line to be her alpha. Then when he rejects her too, she decides she can't take it anymore. She leaves, joins the Firelight pack, changes her name to Gemini Carter, and changes from weak to badass. Five years later, and her new pack has to join her old one. No one is expecting her to show up again, and definitely not like this. Now that she's back, they will rue the day they messed with her. . . Maybe.
