Em is a good girl. She hits someone after they make fun of her and then she gets kicked out of the most elite school in Maine. Of course her parents have enough money to send her to another expensive and prestigious single-sex school, but no, they decide she should spend the rest of her high school miserably in (ew) a public school in small-town Connecticut. After she's basically been disowned by her parents and ignored by her sister, the last thing Em needs is bad boy Ethan Benz in her life. Coming from a broken messed up background, this guy intends to break Em's goo girl shell the moment he lays eyes on her. Yeah, not happening. But giving in to his dark hair and undeniably beautiful blue eyes is just about as hard as saying no to a free vintage Chanel purse. And although Em's played the game before and won, she may just loose to this boy. Shit.
