Marlin Calder has just turned ten years old and is ready to leave home to go on his own Trainer adventure. Everything seems to be going well, he's got his own Pokedex, a starter, and two good friends. But his adventure takes an unexpected turn when Marlin discovers the truth about his family lineage: that he is part of a race of half-humans who have the ability to transform into Pokemon at will.
