I Wish I Knew his Will

Around the time when a young country girl lived in the small town of Woodland, California in the 1960's-1990's. She had an older brother, for she was the youngest in the family at the time, but she had a certain brother referred to as Don. Although Don lived a good life, had friends, a life, a future... something hit him in more ways than one.

Depression. A deep, growing void that one can develop. This state hit Don, as he began to isolate himself and began to even physically change. No-one, not even his dear, loyal sister could pick apart his social and lovable facade.

This short story is in remembrance of Don Torcato who took his own life on July 2nd, 1990, as he could not handle his depression any longer. Though it is better known, depression is a serious mental illness that needs to be treated and handled before things get too out of hand. Many people suffer from this and even to the point where they decide to end it; suicide and depression are not a joke of any kind and should be handled urgently.
