Meet Dean, a 22 year old man working as a mechanic, desperately trying to come up with enough money to send his little brother off to college. Sam, the younger brother who longs to become a lawyer and give his brother the life he deserves. Living in a dead beat apartment, hiding from their father—who went mad after the suicide of their mother—the boys both live in pain and heartbreak.
Meet Meg, a girl grown up in an abusive home without a mother, who longs to be loved and find true friends. Castiel, her best friend and only friend, is an orphan, who was left to die in a bar’s parking lot as a newborn. Quiet and reserved, he is a man of few words but with a heart the size of the world.
All four of them are lost in this world and desperately long to be found. What happens when these two groups meet? Do they find what they are looking for, or do they discover what they never knew was lost?

A college Destiel AU fic. Castiel Novak is 20 years old, and on the verge of a mental break down just about every damn day of his life. He went to college to live up to his mother's expectations, but he's starting to rethink whether or not he actually cares about that. Maybe it was the new found independence of living his own life?
