Fourth Book! Please go read my other three before starting this one!

Casey can feel herself growing weaker as her memories slowly fade back in. And she's afraid her immunity is weakening as she goes on. She's heartbroken, embarrassed, infuriated. She feels as if the world isn't the same. All these years she has been able to get through it, but now it's just hell.

As if things couldn't get worse, she knows it always will. The Wolves find their way into the walls. Sure, it's easily taken care of; but it's the aftermath she worries about. Something bad is going to happen. It starts with the walls caving in. And it all ends with one man.

So what happens if the Immune isn't immune anymore? Will she burn along with everything else, or will she save the ones she loves?

34 parts Complete Mature

Avery has a job in mind, to find out why she's immune to the bite. Was it the walker or does she have a special gene that keeps her from being infected? Her other group lost their lives to discover what the strange event was, so now she's on her own until she meets a certain survivor. When other people find out about her immunity she becomes a target for science and a cure causing for her life to be protected at all costs. Memories are visited and danger is around every corner until Avery is able to find some sort of safe haven. Daryl Dixon has fought to live alone like Avery, but hasn't had a purpose to keep moving. He's looking for something he's certain he can't find, his family. How will Daryl react to her immunity to the disease, but more importantly why is Avery not infected? PG-14
