It's been 3 years since Monique's parents died because of an accident and now she's also fighting. She has a cancer but she never lose faith. She's brave and strong. She never let the day end without putting smile in her face.
She survive her highschool life but when she entered college it wasn't easy for her. She still had her tita and her friends. She treat her tita as her second mom, she's very sweet, caring like mom. And her friends? Her friends were always there for her like what she is to them.

Because when she was still kid, she want to build houses, buildings and etc. She's focus on her study but never forget to enjoy, she has these sayings "life is too short so live life to the fullest" but one thing she avoided from the start is to fall in love with someone. She had crushes but never forget about limits. Because why would she try? It'll just end and hurt herself and the one she love cause sooner or later she will be gone. But what if she broke her rules?

So In a bad head space Nathan asks the pilot to bring the plane down. However Tyler had paid the pilot before Nathan got there. When Rose asks if her best friend Lola can come with on the plane Nathan doesn't know what to do. He says okay, he knows they both will die. He gives it away in a few chapters of his own in part one of the book. Well Rose survives the plane crash. And it broken from it, one day a year later Nathan find Rose.
