Phantom has seized control of Haven. By hacking the micro chips implanted in nearly every citizen, the terrorist group stripped humanity of its free will. Those under their strings are called the Taken.
Raven was one of them.
When Raven awakens with her chip removed, she meets Firewall Sector Seven, a band of dangerous yet hilarious operatives waging a desperate war against Phantom.
Leading them is Logan, the elusive hacker who saved her life. Calm, unreadable, and impossibly skilled, he conceals his identity and emotions behind an impenetrable mask. As Logan becomes Raven's mentor and protector, an unexplainable attraction grows between them. Yet every glimpse beneath his composed exterior reveals a young man burdened by secrets he cannot afford to share.
As Raven pieces together her fractured past, she is forced to confront a devastating truth: her memories cannot be trusted. With Phantom closing in, she must decide whether to accept the life written for her, or fight to reclaim the one that was stolen.

Everyone was evacuated from the home planet over 150 years ago. Our planet was dying, it was only a matter of time before our race was wiped out. We now live on a synthetic planet designed and built by our ancestors who came together from all parts of the globe to devise a plan to save us. We have lived peacefully for over a century.. Until now. Our lives were threatened when a mysterious and deadly virus broke out, killing entire communities at a time. The council says that they have a plan; they said that in order to prevent the death of more innocent people they will test every man, woman, and child for signs of the virus. Any person found to have been infected will be quarantined, the ones who die will be given a proper burial while the ones who survive are deemed carriers and are to be sent to the home planet to prevent further outbreak. I was prepared for the people I know and some I love being taken away for the greater good, but I never would have expected that among the list of people being taken from my community, that I would be one of them.. I survived the quarantine. Now for the survival of my planet I, and the other Carriers must be sent to the home planet. I'm going back to Earth. The sound of rustling ceased my staring. I watched him moving in largo. "Hurry up!" With a lopsided smirk, he started unbuttoning his coat, eyes boring holes on me. "What are you? An android rapist?" He let out with indifferent. "Shut it!" I yelled, trailing my eyes lower. "The pants too." *** Eve had volunteered for an assignment to meet the future. Finally she lands a new job online, in a virtual reality simulation, but later uncovers with the help of a young man, Jake, that the company she works for could be a central hub for shady, underground, secret activities. The worst part is, people have disappeared under strange, unknown circumstances. Only person she can turn to help at this point is her estranged twin brother, who stopped talking to her years ago.
