Where creatures of supernatural horror live, running around feeding off of the flesh of mankind. Not even the southern country knew of the horror that lives in the cold unforgiving lands of his twin brother... or what horrors he had faced.... even to this day.

But America knows better than to listen to them. He hated the headaches. The crippling loneliness. The need to love someone. But it's the same as his siblings. 'He knows better than to listen to the voices' He wants a friend. Someone who wont leave him or betray him. Atleast he had a reminder of his late friend.

A couple of my colleagues and I decided to do a news article and discover the reasons for all the missing people. However I never realized the horrors that would await us in the quiet little town. The town is not a real place in Canada, I just made it up. This is my first story ever so if I have grammar mistakes PLEASE CORRECT ME!!! I'm not a writer but I've had this idea in my head ever since I watched Hostel and Wrong Turn so I figured I'd see if anyone else is interested. They called this day, 'The Awakening'. Using the little evidence of a once prosperous society, they rebuilt their city and started anew. Buddy, a young man who named himself after a beer can he found, had been living in the streets, fantasizing about the man he might've been before The Awakening. He lead a simple life that was difficult at the same time, and was content keeping it that way. But this wouldn't be a story if everything stayed the same now would it?

Canada, also known as Matthew Williams, is always being ignored. He is constently confused for his brother America, known as Alfred F. Jones, and beaten up by other countries and nations just to 'get even with America'. Everybody thinks Canada is a weak country, that it's never seen war, that its people have never died for a cause. Canada decides to not go to a meeting one day to help his air force practice in case of an emergency. When the countries and nations realize he isn't there, they find a strange book instead. They decide to read it and find a note on the inside. Will everyone realize that maybe some ignore Canada because he makes them uncomfortable? Or is it just because he is usually peaceful? The book holds many secrets about Canada, some probably should be left in the dark, but only if the nations react badly. Okay, disclaimer, probably not terrible secrets, but this will be interesting. But will reading the book really help?

an original story based on nothing but my own imagination. the characters from a random drawing made in math class. it is odd but kind of relatable. I write this up in 2015. creatures called Alicana travel on a quest to save kids that have been kidnapped by humans. starting out on a big day in town. finding themself as new adults. only to find that they have been attacked in the night. with Shyrifel's power to read minds he tracks the way the humans have taken the kids. with his friend Leo worried about his mental health. meeting many along the way. will they be able to save them? don't know yet since this is unfinished.
