26 years ago a virus broke out. It contaminated 30% of our world's population. Now, 14 years later, the disease has taken over 50% of the population, turning them permanently into half-beast half-humans. Lycans. Or werewolves, if you prefer. Our great American government tried to make a cure, but with the virus spreading so fast, they resulted to other measures. Killing.
Because the virus mutated, creating yet another species.
The dog-traited.
Those who had complete control over any and all canine animal. Including wolves. So, once a month the government hosts a test to determine if you are dog traited. And if you are.... they take you. Away from your family, friends and home. They take to a monstrous school where you are trained to kill lycans in their wolf form. Trained to lure them in with your virus-given power then strike a killing blow to the unsuspecting beast.
My name is Celest. This happened to me, and it ended up changing the world. For rebellion is coming, and only one species can come out on top.
