Dead silence

It's the year 2020. everyones dead, or at least everyone fay Taylor knew or loved. it feels like its been years since the war had began. It's weird that the world when alive was so quite but now that everyone was dead, its completely silent.

Sixteen year old fay Taylor was a smart girl. observant, mysterious and...deaf. Her world had always been silent but it was loud with the constant movement of everyday life. When a flesh eating virus strikes the U.S she slowly gets more and more consumed in her silence as she watches those around her die and come back with the breath of death in their rotting lungs.

How will she survive and for how long. the odd creatures once human might not be able to see but she could not hear, so who really had the benefit.
