The futuristic city of Pittsburgh has been enclosed in a dome following the Nuclear War, which left a great deal of the world uninhabitable. Several other cities within the United States have survived and enclosed themselves as well.

Eighteen-yea-old, Alexia Glass has always been interested about life outside the dome, which is a capital offense. Anyone caught leaving the dome or talking about life outside is killed by televised execution. It’s the way the new government maintains total control over the surviving cities. 

So when the rebel stronghold devises a plan to leave the dome, Alexia lets her curiosity win over. Thrown into a dangerous world with a rising revolution, she realizes that maybe being rebel isn't a great idea, and just maybe there's a reason why no one should leave the dome.Tüm hakları saklıdır

We left the Dome because I felt that this is our purpose of living this kind of world. A world that is poisoned by technology and wrong governance. I could say that I'm very serious of saying this things. l could laugh. It's the way a Lower Class should feel. We are worthless in the eyes of them, the eyes of our pedagogues. But who cares?
