Heidi Evans is tired of hiding. Sam Foster is tired of not being to hide. And fate has a plan for them both. Despite being neighbors practically their entire lives, Heidi and Sam have never had an actual conversation. They are strangers, and they would have continued to be had it not been for their senior year graduation party. Bad music and overly enthusiastic adult chaperones draw these two together, and in one night they learn more about each other than they had in eighteen years. Eager to escape their personal demons, Heidi and Sam embark on an impulsive road trip with only one goal: have a little bit of fun before summer ends. They have no money, no destination, and know almost nothing about each other. Luckily, they have hundreds of miles of open road to figure all that out.
