No one expected an android to show up at the Detroit Police headquarters claiming to be a detective, especially not Emma McMaghnuis, an officer known for her people skills who specializes in mental health. But while Emma is empathetic, Connor is logical and emotionless, or so he claims. So when the Detroit Police department becomes embroiled in cases of deviancy in androids, on top of mounting tensions within the department over officers getting replaced by androids, will Emma and Connor team up, or will their differences cause them to choose different sides?

I won't lie I kinda hate myself for writing this but the ideas kept flowing so here we go It would take a long time for androids to be equal to humans, but at least the first steps had been made. Connor, a prototype for a detective android who managed to go deviant and form a friendship with an old police Lieutenant who drinks just a little too much was one of those androids who liked to believe he had a hand in the outcome of the Android Revolution. The rules were when the Deviant case was solved, Connor would return to Cyberlife, but now that androids were people he could stay in the police department- and you bet your ass he did. Everything was going smoothly for about a month or so until Connor and his best partner Hank are chasing after a serial killer and Connor gets injured on the job. Will Hank be able to finish the case without his partner there every step of the way? And an even bigger question: How will the Lieutenant handle Connors replacement - the RK900? Story length: 10,003 Words - This is based after the ending where everyone lives and they essentially get equal rights for androids - This is not Hank x Connor, it's more of a father/son relationship - Trigger Warnings: Cussing, drinking, bodies and typical crimescene environments, drugs, etc. - This is kinda a lazy fanfic- AKA I really love these characters and had a scene in my head, then formed a plot around it and did my best to make it interesting lol. - I made the cover in Desygner - Characters belong to the game Detroit: Become Human and the company that made it, Quantic Dream. Also I just want say that I wrote this story and then matched the cover and it matches so well like honestly wtfComplete

Connor, the Android sent by CyberLife and Lieutenant Hank Anderson are now armed with the task of taking care of a five year old girl after she survived a house fire that was started by a suspected deviant. However, her parents were not so fortunate. Together, the three go on missions, solve cases and try to uncover what is causing androids to deviate throughout Detroit. As the story progresses, Connor begins to question the way humans treat androids. With the help of five year old (Y/n), he will have to make a decision. Moving to Detroit had been good for Frankie. She'd managed to get her dream job, working with a partner who had been an idol of hers since she'd first heard his name whispered in the hallways... even if it had been laced with pity for a loss no parent should ever have to live with.
