This is very, very AU. I wrote it for a friend, but decided to publish it. Things aren't the same, no one is. It isn't the right Doctor, it isn't even the right companions. But even though it's changed, even though everything is different, it's still the same. There are still Daleks and Time Lords. There is still the end of the universe and fish 'n chips. There's still the Doctor and the companions. And that is all that matters now, because there's still love, there's still adventure, and there is still life. I do not own BBC, Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, or anything related to these copyrighted franchises or anything else copyrighted mentioned in the story.

After almost a year of the Alchemist suffering at the hands of the Vortex, the last of the Creators has regenerated into a form able to handle her gifts, leaving her to travel with the Doctor as if nothing had ever gone wrong in the first place. But just because she is at her finest, does not mean their lives are the same. Christmas, a planet with sand made of the dead, the Trickster, Mars, and the mysterious aliens called the 456 still stand in their way . . . And all signs point to the Doctor, and the Doctor alone, meeting his end sooner rather than later. Fifth in The Creators Saga. *** I do not own Doctor Who, nor any of its quotes. They belong to the writers of Doctor Who and to the BBC. The Alchemist, however, belongs to me, as does the concept of the Creators, and the cover was done by Myeah.
