I was tasked with writing a fractured fairy tale in my Creative Writing class. For anyone who doesn't know what a fractured fairy tale is: it is when you take a classic fairy tale and put your own unique twist on it to make it into something new.
Even though I am no longer in that class, I still have not finished this story (or many others for that matter) and will be working on it slowly. I will update the story with new chapters as I finish writing them.

Blair scheduled a visit with her Grandma and she wouldn't miss it for anything. They haven't talked in a while... mostly because Grandma is six feet under. To get to Grandma's grave, Blair must travel through the woods that lay in her path. What kind of story would this be if they were just ordinary woods though? Of course these woods are dark and sinister. Something evil lurks in the shadows. It doesn't like anyone wandering through its woods. Can Blair make it out and to the cemetery alive?

I don't recommend reading this if you want a well written story! It's in dire need of some serious editing! Can you really leave your past behind you? Can you lock it away, in the darkest recesses of your mind? Or will it always be there, hiding in the shadows, waiting to pounce? When Lily moved to London from Wales, she thought that it would be a fresh start. But her problems just seem to follow her wherever she goes. Silently struggling to come to terms with the situation surrounding her parents' death, Lily hopes that finding a job and being independent will help her to get the courage she needs to move on. But things can never stay "just good", her demons from the past will always try to rear their ugly heads, ready to pounce when Lily least expects it. When it all becomes too much, Lily doesn't know if she will lay down and take it or fight to the death. **#1 in #Darkmoon** A walk in the forest, that's what I need. A stressful day at school and a walk in the forest will relax me. This is what I do all the time. Every day without fail, I take a hour walk in the forest behind my home after school. This time something happened that I didn't even expect in these woods. At first I heard a low growl and thought it was just a dog and an owner. Then it got louder, sounding like it was getting closer. My head jerked in a direction where a twig snapped, causing my heart to start beating faster then normal. It was a bit dark in the forest, considering it was winter. Then that's when I saw it, the red eyes coming from the bushes. My feet were frozen to the spot, I wanted to run but my feet didn't want to move. I felt a hand go on my shoulder, turning my head, I saw a man, probably in his early twenties. ''Run!'' He whispered but loud enough for it to be a shout. I looked at the eyes and a hand grabbed mine, pulling me off in a different direction. This isn't the best way to meet someone but what happens when they see more of each other? Book 1: "Allison where did you get that from the dollar store" the queen whore of the school looked at me with so much hate. There was so much adrenaline that was flowing throw me I simply said " actually no your mom gave them to me". " Look b*tch I don't now who you think your dealing with." She said grabbing my collar. Our world, but what happens to them then? Normally they know nothing of our world except that it's out there, but they're not alone. There is two groups, or guilds as the witches/warlocks call them. The guilds people work as professional killers, they all have different jobs to help each other. Such as real estate. One of the members is a warlock by the name of Rusty Blanchet.
