La guerre. Cet événement transcendant l'histoire des hommes. Elle sépare les fils de leurs mère et les mènes bien souvent à leur perte. Le bruit des armes s'entrechoquant entre-elles, mêlées aux Râles des blessés rappel toute son horreur. Mais la guerre est parfois nécessaire. Un gradé de L'armée de NE me l'avait dit un jour, "c'est du chaos que naît l'ordre". J'ai toujours vécue dans l'innocence, pensant que la force d'une seule personne pouvait changer la face du monde. Je me trompais, mais seulement a moitié. Mon nom est Ajël Nordinskii et ceci est mon histoire.

Children of Adaygue Book 1: Mad World
Book One. It's a strange, even mad world indeed. A world where magic once long ago filled the air, and was felt within everything, until humanity explored it's potential for power, destruction, and war. It nearly ripped apart creation, and thus, some legendary hero took sealed it away to protect the creation from destruction- Adaygue, Great Mother to everyone. She became the deity to protect magic, and her followers called herself "Children of Adaygue". 3135 years later, after countless of wars, magic flickers and loses its meaning. But the people "blessed by Adaygue" face segregation, racism, and exploitation from the countries they live in. The story revolves around a group of people from all over the world: Madleine and Marik Winterfeldt, siblings by choice and Gene, a young noble living in the old Holy Empire of German Nation, a nation riddled with magical infested rifts as literal scars of war, and in continuesly danger of being at war again with it's powerful neigbour, The Holy French Empire of the Sun. On the other side of the planet, in the United Kingdom of America, magic abled people have more possibility to work with their "blessing", if it is viewed more useful. This means to fight against giant beasts from faultlines, that have strange connections to rifts. There is a band of people quite successful with it and one in particular is celebrated like a popstar: Hades, (self-declared) God of the Underworld, trying to survive a world where the only worth a person like him is how much money he generates for the large companies called "guilds". It's a world ruled by chaos. A mad world indeed.
She Kills (2016)
Fun and a bit of sex mixed with travels and introspection. That is "She Kills". This novel was supposed to be the sequel of "Abat-Jour", my novel published by Inknbeans in 2015, that was about four guys and a series of trips to Spain in the summer of 2001 to provide a slice of life of a generation, mixed with irony, surreal meetings and a good dose of introspection. For those (all of you guys, I guess!) who didn't read "Abat-Jour": the story starts from the end: Daniele, the main character, has just come home from the last journey. As he rests on his bed, he looks back on what happened in his life in the last few months, inspired by shadows and things in his room. What comes out, in the shape of this journey, is a search for answers to questions of an entire generation. The narrator, Daniele, takes the reader jumping forward and back in months and years, collecting emotions and memories with a musical trace of U2's songs, always present. Everything finds its own place, eventually, in the puzzle of Daniele's memory illuminated in his Abat-Jour.. "She Kills" is also a fiction novel with 58.000 words estimated. It's about what happened to them from 2001 to 2015. I could say there's a mix of fiction and a true story in both of them. They're full of irony and weird situations but they mainly represent a generation between what it was before and after a critical age (the attacks of 9/11 represent a big divide). They were thirty years old but not ready to become men yet. The main character has a lover and a love story that changes him a lot in both novels. In the first one the girl was Eva, a Spanish girl who seems to be more than a summer story. The novel shows how bad things can go when you don't wanna grow up. In the sequel, there's a German woman named Ele who will bring Lele almost to craziness. At the end, despite all the weird, dramatic and funny situations, Lele realizes that there's no more time to waste in silly relationships in the worst possible way.Completa

I always knew i wasn't meant for the heels anyway. When I joined the army, I was young and foolish. I thought I would become invencible but my first experience in the field showed me just how naive I was. Abandoned by my own nation, with a team of 5 brave men, sent on a suicidal misson. In the middle of the nowhere, thirsty, starving, I realized the real essence of humanity. We conquered the desert, we completed the mission, they said. We were heroes, they said. However, most of us, dead heroes. I lost my whole team to the desert. The president, the media, never confirmed their deaths. They gave them as lost in the field when I myself saw them fall one by one. They gave them as lost in battle when we both know just how they died. My mistake? I opened my mouth. I was not gonna let them spread lies about my men, about my team! Mistaken airstrike? My ass! My men died because the people in the white house decided we weren't worthy of support. I threatened to expose the truth myself and when I did, they had no better way to shut me up than to send me back to war. Hi there, I'm JD, a 31-year-old Venezuelan-Spanish Economist living in Barcelona with my Russian (pro-peace) wife Anna and our two kittens; we met in Italy eight years ago, and almost since then we have been working on this project. During our careers we've worked with people from South America to Japan, from Australia to Canada, from South Africa to Norway, the characters in the novel are based on people I was lucky enough to meet along the way who left me with invaluable lessons which we feel the duty and privilege of sharing with our fellow humans, hopefully sharing what cosmologists call "Space Bias". There are seven main protagonists each one with their own chapter - which can be read in whichever order you prefer, - two of them in present tense and the rest in past, it's all part of the story. They all have mixed backgrounds such as a Japanese father and a Taiwanese mother, a survivor of the Rwanda massacre, a Colombian with Lebanese and Portuguese ancestry, a Danish whose mother is German, a Jewish lady married to a Muslim man she met in Jerusalem, an Anglo-Indian guy inspired in a way in Orwell - character name is Arthur such as Orwell's real name, - and last but definitely not least a Turkish Muslim bisexual woman for which a Lebanese friend for work is providing help; my friend is working on her Ph.D. on gender inequality in politics, especially in countries with religious civil wars that have moved from the streets to parliament. The story's Universe - 7 trillion light-years, approximately 78 times the size of our observable universe and 252 times the size of a Hubble sphere - provides more than enough civilizations to present dystopias that can serve as warnings for the future - ideally in the style of 1984, A Brave New World, or Fahrenheit 451, - as well as utopias where we find A.E.I - Artificial Emotional Intelligence - along with futuristic ways of understanding childhood, education, and life itself.Completa
