Johnny is very cut off guard when he goes to the lot one afternoon to find himself a love letter.

It was a very strange moment because he never gets letters ever. Lucky for him though, Ponyboy taught him how to read and write.

But this letter was rememberable and what was written inside was very shocking news to him.

The envelope itself was a lightly pink color, and it smelled of sweet fragrance.

And what Johnny Cade wasn't aware of was there were many more letters to come after that...
