If it hadn't been for the storm that forced her out of her homeless paradise back in the abandoned parts of New York City, she would have never come here. It was the year 2150 and the world was ruled by the media. Ever since social media had taken the world by storm in the early 2000s, everything in the U.S was a competition. Citizens were doing anything and everything to gain viral fame. Cosmetic modifications were a must, and technology was everywhere.

And there's no one to stop it. people began to rebel against the government, and the planet grew cold, with a variant of the virus polluting the climate, causing acid rains and at times, chilling temperatures. for three years, scientists searched and tested for an antidote, and the didn't find it, until now. However, some would call it a cure, and some would call it a curse. The scientists of course needed subjects to make sure it would work, and they selected teenagers and young adults all across the world for it between the ages of 15 and 23, only to find, the antidote had an insane side effect.
