When we are born we find that there is something missing in our lives.
This is the metaphoric exploration of the shortness of highschool romance, even if we know it is short, it is that fleeting moment that lasts forever.
The beauty in it is the knowledge that is we die, which is what it means to live. Empty, until we find that one light of a firefly. Knowing that things will end it does not matter because it is the knowledge that that highschool love is the one whom we want to be with above all other if it be just for a moment. Even if it will be painful, even if they are young and knowing that there time together is short it is the memory that lasts.

A Lovely Life
Journey with me back in time as I rewrite the first Journal I kept from when I was in high school, and see that maybe even with how horrible life is most of the times, there are little things spread throughout that make life worth living. My high school experience was full of drama, tears, laughter, and most of all constant search of love, and approval of the people around me. I can't always get what I want in this world. Life is a beautiful mess. It's not perfect, and filled with a lot of disappointments, and heartbreak. "If you love me, you won't leave me." Jessie has believed those words from her boyfriend, Josh, since senior year of high school. She loves him and doesn't want to leave him.
