There has always been some unwritten rule at school that if nobody bothered you, you wouldn't bother them. It has always killed you inside that no one ever talked to you. You wished you had someone you could be friends with, but your only friend is your cat. Then the Serpents transfer to Riverdale High. To you, this means a fresh start. Maybe you could even talk to one of them. Who knows, it might just show you a whole world you never imagined. You have never had anyone to love you, except of course your parents, but they have to love you. Maybe a certain serpent could change that.

Trigger warning! Mentions of self harm

Abigail Andrews made a promise to herself. She would get over her fear of rejection. She would no longer hide in her brother's shadow for safety. She would step out and experience life for all it has to offer. She spent all summer planning it out, but she'll find out that life doesn't care about your plans. This is a spin-off/alternative outcome from my other Riverdale fan fiction, Take Me to The Races, which is about Malachai. In this story, Abby never works the nightshift at Pops, so she never meets Malachai. You don't need to read that one to understand this one.
