The mythical realm is ruled over by  Lucifer and Lilith, with their son Lucian next in line for the throne. Their family is the most powerful species in the mythical realm, referred to as "Devils." They rule over all other species. The Shapeshifters fall under them in power, followed by the Higher Demons, Incubi/Succubi, Fae and then the Vampires.  Humans are considered to be the filth of the planet, seen as nothing but a source of food for some.
	Lucian is used to getting what he wants, by any means necessary. Nothing and no one seems to phase the prince, that is except for her. Friendship that blossomed soo many hundreds of years prior with young Evelynn seems to have been lost amongst the years of separation. Is it truly lost within her strange behavior, or is there something more hiding itself within her Emerald eyes? When things seem to be set in a straight path, fate has a way of throwing a few surprises in.
