This was Harry's promise to Esmerelda before parting for summer break. However, things never go according to plan for these two. After they both suffer though a difficult summer, they hope Hogwarts will put them at ease. However, there are more mysteries lurking around Hogwarts than ever before. Muggle-born students are turning up petrified for no good reason, and there are rumors of a monster roaming around the school grounds. Harry, Esmerelda, and their friends are willing to break a few rules in order to piece the mystery together. Harry and Esmerelda soon realize that only they have the power to defeat this monster, only if they figure out the clues in time.

Most characters belong to J.K. Rowling, except Esmerelda Potter.

This story is based on the events of the book "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets."
