Anya's been trotting around the forest long enough to forget her humane life. Kristopher's the new wolf who Anya instantly takes a disliking too, just because he makes her feel these "indescribable feelings". Too bad she has to mentor him into "the way" wolves live. "You eat animals?" He asked, shocked and appall. I frowned, "yeah... I thought humans did too?" Or at least that's what I barely remembered. Huh. Maybe the rules changed. "Well," he hesitated, "yes, we do, but I me-mean-" And there goes the stammering... "Just spit it out," I snapped, forgetting my promise to Winter about being "patient". Whatever. He huffed and did that nose-scratching thing. "We do...it's just that...we're animals as well..." I nodded, urging him to continue. He did. "I mean...wouldn't this count as cannibalism?"
