Apocalipsa a inceput. Nimeni nu stia, nimeni nu era pregatit. Fara arme, fara protectie.
Tanara, frumoasa cu un intreg viitor in fata, Clark se loveste de cele mai aprigi temeri.  Fara parintii, aceasta trebuie sa aibe grija de fratele ei mai mic.

"Pana la sosirea noptii e responsabilitatea ta sa gasesti buncarul." 
"Responsabilitatea mea este sa am grija de Alex."

 Maturizarea isi va pune amprenta asupra ei. Va trece prin multe incercari. Fuga sau asumare. Cele doua cuvinte care o rastalmacesc pe aceasta. Va fugi pentru a isi salva viata sau va considera ca este nevoie sa afle ce se intampla.  Nici nu se gandea ca pana acolo va fi un drum lung.Daca Clark credea ca stie cum este lumea, nu stie. Cine ar fi stiut  ca in pragul apocalipsei  isi va face prietenii. Fiecare cu povestea lui. 
"Nu sti nimic despre ea frate, ne trage in jos." 

"Crede-ma nu eu fac asta." 

Nu e vorba doar despre supravietuire, e vorba despre speranta ca vor putea trai cu asta. Si cine s-ar fi gandit ca ea, va invata atat de multe.
