After the death of someone truly important to him, Gerard is left lonely and depressed, wondering whether or not it's worth it to keep living. One day however, Gerard meets Frank, who happens to fall out of a tree while Gerard is walking to school and nearly crushes him. The two get along quite well, even though their personalities are practically exact opposites.

As time passes by, Frank begins to learn more about Gerard and what he's going through, but will he be able to save him in time?
