Determined to fulfill the terms of his punishment with her head held high she gives up her own freedom to be with a mysterious Master in the heart of La forêt de Coeur noir et vert de la Terre, or the Forest of Dark heart and Green Earth. Her companions are no longer the pages of a book but the interesting cast of characters that serve the household in their new forms. Other friendships form, but when the mob comes for the Master of the castle, will Belle be able to stop them from killing the beast?
