Beauty and the Beast, a tale as old as time, a wonderful classic.

In this rendition of the story the classic starts out using influences form many sources, mainly from Disney's own movie and musical of the same name, but in this two part book things get changed around. As the first in the Twisted Fairy Tales series you will get to experience the story in a new way with even more twists and turns along the way.

Belle is a simple country girl in the south west of France, a town known as Anglet in the county of Aquitaine. Her life, dull in many ways, has always been brightened by tales of heroism and adventure. The stories of greatest sacrifice and truest love were always apart of her imagination, until her father goes missing and she must make her own sacrifice. Determined to fulfill the terms of his punishment with her head held high she gives up her own freedom to be with a mysterious Master in the heart of La forêt de Coeur noir et vert de la Terre, or the Forest of Dark heart and Green Earth. Her companions are no longer the pages of a book but the interesting cast of characters that serve the household in their new forms. Other friendships form, but when the mob comes for the Master of the castle, will Belle be able to stop them from killing the beast?
