Felines and Canines were never compatible. One was man's best friend and the other was worshipped as gods. They were always different, always separated. So, when it came to coexisting with one another, it wasn't a surprise when tension arose.
Nowadays, slight jabs here and there are permitted, but a tear in their partnership isn't exactly favorable. Why? Because there are evil hybrids on the loose. These hybrids are called "Forbidden" or "Turned". Years ago they revolted when hybrids wanted to make peace with humans after a long, bloody war. For this, they went against the wishes of the mother of creation and she cursed them with rotting flesh as punishment. Nasty, right?
As the years passed, the Forbidden have yet to make a move. The hybrid community is anxiously waiting for them, but they'll be ready, right?
