It's curious the way destiny plays. Two peculiar people among others and related to each other can live in the same space for an hour each week and not know of the existence of the other. Until there is a break in the routine of one of them and the circumstances make him turn on his radar, communicating with his goal with something as ironic as an email.

What is the first step to finding your soulmate?
For Will Solace, losing his private agenda and send an email to retrieve it.
For Nico di Angelo, shake off the laziness and answer it.

Will Solace is sure that he's going to be the one to finally get the bounty for the Ghost King. The Ghost King is a supervillain. So why won't he hurt anyone? The Ghost King is the city's only supervillain--so who is this new villain, and how can Nico and Will survive them? The Ghost King is a supervillain, which is why Will Solace is feeling a little bit ridiculous to be blushing when they touch.
