"Hi" she said, slightly jumping, as if she was cold and trying to heat up.

"Oh god Arden, what's going on?! Are you okay? Are you drunk?" I asked taking her hand to pull her into the house, but she didn't move. 

"I'm fine. More importantly, does your car have an aux cable?"

"Yes?" I answered, still super confused. How was that more important than her being okay. 

"Okay good. Could you maybe drive me to New York tomorrow?" 

"What?" I exclaimed. "You want me to drive you to New York, which is a three day ride, and you are letting me know now?! At 2 AM the night before? How drunk are you?" 

She just looked at me

"Wait, are you serious?"
