My vision starts to blur and my head starts to pound. I was dying, I knew this, and I don't know why, but I didn't care."

Jasper died by hanging in August of 1919. He believes nothing will ever change. He's become bitter after almost a century alone in his little cabin, with only two visitors. But every will change once his few friends take him out of his little piece of hell. He may just find the right thing to help him cross over.
