Nights and days after the final splatfest, the two Squid Sisters continued to walk side by side together under the clear sky above. They would always be like this, Callie thought. She and her favorite cousin Marie would always dance and sing to the world around them, their voices always loud and clear with everyone else's. No storm could ever blur this friendship the Squid Sisters possessed.
But in reality, some types of clouds can become so thick that they are able cover even the brightest futures that were yet to be reached...

This fanfiction is solely based off of the Squid Sister stories. It will have the same story and everything, just with extra stuff and all in Callie's point of view! I suggest you read the official stories before reading this.
Some of the stuff in this book is my logical theory, so don't come whining to me about it~ But feel free to comment your thoughts! Thank you!

When Callie is late to the Halloween party, Marie agrees to tell the others a story to kill the time. The story takes place long ago and is about a scientist that has no other dream but to create life. After many failures, he is forced to seek help from hooded figures that appear one night. He succeeds, but gets trapped in deal he can't escape from. A few months later, a shadow starts terrorizing the land of Inkopolis. It strikes at night, it's blade cutting down everyone that gets in it's way. One night, four travelers gather to stop the shadow, and go out to fight it. Despite that, they began to drift apart as they both began developing solo careers. One day Marie was able to get a three day vacation and left for Calamari County. Callie on the other hand could not come because of an important meeting. The two planned to meet on the second day of Marie's vacation. However, danger was lurking in Octo Canyon.
