Two gray eyes peered down at him, purer than the full moon. They swam with concern and fear... and something else. Kindness. He couldn't remember ever being graced by such a look before. It stunned him and he found that he couldn't move. He couldn't escape that gaze or look away, but he found that he didn't really want to.
Once again a beastly feeling of possession roared in his chest. He had to have this treasure that saved him from the pain and looked at him like that. Like he was... human, and not a rampaging beast. Like he wasn't the trash of the earth, a monster... demon, killer, the devil himself...
He had seen it all in the eyes of the night guards before. But this... never...
Is Lorelei an angel? Or is she just another manifestation of his broken and rotting mind?
Springtrap is a tortured soul, languishing in the darkness and suffering for the sins of his past. He doesn't deserve to be saved or for the torment to stop. Somehow though... he is granted a reprieve from the torture by sheer luck... or is it fate?
I don't own Five Nights at Freddy's, that would be Scott Cawthon. This is a Fanfiction and I would like anybody reading to respect that. This book does not follow the the lore and will go off in its own direction A LOT, so please be nice.
