When a new region is discovered and the Pokémon league wishes to set up a new generation of Gym Leaders and Elite 4, they set up an island academy with 18 trainers who are all wanting to show their worth. Each with their own type speciality, which of these trainers are leaders, which of them are not worthy, and which of them are elite among their ranks.
