Keith Kogane is a college student who can transform into a purple creature at will- which includes fluffy ears and large, feathered wings. He struggles to keep it a secret, as purple feathers are hard to hide in the snow. Then Lance comes. It's not like Keith doesn't like him- quite the opposite of that actually- it's just that it seems like Lance doesn't like Keith. But, over time they grow closer, and Keith's secret also becomes harder to hide. One day Keith's secret is exposed- and of course none other than Lance is there to save him.

Sometimes people are a lot different then you think. The first minute Lance steps into his new school he's warned about Keith Kogane. They say he's like the devil, the meanest guy you will ever meet. You better stay away from him otherwise you could get on his bad side, and then your life is over. Lance isn't the guy to judge people just because people talk about that person. Lance knows that he's annoying. He knows that he's a flirt, and that his jokes are always terrible. That's why the kidnapping by the Galra fleet, didn't bother him all that much.
