The summer of 2020 will never be forgotten. Especially for Vi, Dana, Lucy, Jules and Sabine, a group of childhood friends from Mississippi. After Vi's cousin Alec graduates and celebrates getting his first record deal, things start getting out of hand. At the after party, Vi stumbles into a scandal with a popular celebrity, Dana meets a bad boy, and Jules is betrayed by her own heart. Just when things seem like they can't get any worse, Vi finds someone is trying to sabotage their friendship, spreading lies about the girls to their hometown. 
Will Vi be able to outwit this scandal, and save her friendship? Will a romance blossom, or turn sour?
