Wanderlust: Strong longing for or impulse toward wandering (Merriam-Webster)
We often think of 'wandering' as the act of going aimlessly from place to place; it is okay if you think that, you would not be wrong.
To me, it means much more than just changing your geographical location. We can wander in our own homes, drift away from reality on our chairs, migrate to other worlds with a pen in hand. Places where none have ever been, stories that have never been told, realities that exist only in the minds of those who heed your words.
One could call acts of writing, reading, imagining, and philosophising other ways of travel - the only difference being what you choose to impose as a difference.

Bird Song
A journey of understanding how to love, how to be loved and hardest of all, how to accept that someone loves you. Sometimes your biggest enemy is your own self doubt, I wrote this to cope and to understand. The story follows Alara as she finishes her last year at school and emerges into her 20's. It follows her struggle as she tries to determine her feelings for Jules. There's an almost magnetic quality to Jules, she is effortlessly likeable, she doesn't demand approval, but somehow she gets it. Jules couldn't be more different from Alara and Alara knows it. (p.s. I originally wrote this as a film script which may be why the flow is a bit off. Open to comments and suggestions!)Concluída

In the world we live in, thoughts get lost. Not because they want to disappear, but because we're too afraid to think them. Some are naughty, some forbidden, some simply unwanted. We don't want to think them. We can't. We don't have the time to. We're not brave enough. So we push them away, shift them to places where they're harder to find-far beyond what is allowed, desired, or considered good. But sometimes the mind takes a journey to visit them again. It vanishes for a while. But every traveler returns-often carrying even more baggage than they initially took with them. Years of turning away suitors led her parents to take her life in their own hands, and they shipped her off to the other side of the world to carry out an arranged marriage with the handsome Prince Caspian, heir to the Shah of the Sand Nomads. Io knew that as far as future husbands went, she lucked out. Caspian was kind and considerate-however, the only issue was that on the day of their wedding, his older sister, Callisto, would be sacrificed in honor of their marriage. Io didn't like murder to begin with, but as she befriended Callisto, she realized that she didn't want to say goodbye just yet. They all go on a trip together to celebrate their last bit freedom, but somewhere along the way, their wanderlust takes control and they run away to explore the world on their own terms. But when no one is there to keep them from discovering certain places, they learn many things about both them and their pasts: they aren't who they think they are. The more secrets that come out, the less they want to return. A short story about a villainess girl who had gained knowledge of her fate. She didn't changed anything and had accepted her fate. Her 'henchmen' as a voice called them, are her precious friends. She knew of what their fate was and has warned them again and again for them to avoid it. ♧♤♧♤ "Just what is real Love?" a whisper of a girl. Images of her friends faces full of despair flashes her mind." Why must we keep on chasing after their shadows when we know that we are not their desiried person?" Years later, friends who are worried about her asked why she held so much sorrow and longing towards the person she's marrying in the future. " A foolishness that I had done causes me to lose all. I give everything for him and just have nothing to receive in return. You, my friends please remember my words. Don't be ruled by jealousy and see the real self of the person you're with. My sorrows and melancholy, hope you won't experience them." ♧♤♧♤ Author's note: This story was in my drafts for quite a while(they are flooding at my notebooks/journals and drafts in wattpad). It a waste that I might forgot the plot and all so here it is. Mainly I don't have much time (mostly procrastinating ) and I have lot of novels to catch up. So... this novel might not have decent updates that it might be on par with on hold/on hiatus stories. I just felt wasted on leaving it rot like some of my old stories.
