In a small medieval town, Rue is shocked to find that she has magical abilities, forbidden by the king. 

She finds out she is a lightchild, a type of magical creature that appears almost exactly as human, except for the glowing eyes. 

She finds she's something else too. She may be the only hope against their king's tyranny. But can she do it in time to save them all?All Rights Reserved
