***Warning: There are a few sexual scenes that might not be suitable for some readers.........What if we could change how The Walking Dead has played out? Why would we want to right? The Walking Dead is great just the way it is but if we could, what direction would we go in, would we follow the original story line pretty close and just add a little something something to it or would we change it up completely? I thought about this for a little while and decided that I am going to continue Daryl's story as I see, I will follow the original direction but I am going to change it up a little, putting Daryl in the forefront of my story. Daryl is with the group on the outskirts of Atlanta, but now I am going to put in something special for Daryl fans. This story continues on from A Brother's Influence, (A Daryl Dixon Story)

*** CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTANT REVISION AND EDITING! UPDATING WHENEVER POSSIBLE *** **Previous called "Post Apocalyptic Love (Daryl Dixon Fanfiction** *yes, there is smut. since its a daryl dixon fanfic, it only seemed fitting. i will put a warning in the chapter that have it, so if you are uncomfortable with reading smut, skip that part. this is all my first time writing this kinda stuff so take it easy on me. thanks!* ~~ The book is separated by each season of TWD, so if you have a favorite season you can chose to read Kelley's story from there ~~ A virus broke out across the globe, reanimating the dead and creating mass chaos. In a matter of days, half of the world's population was either dead or turned. The government collapsed, TV and radio stations shut down, and everyone was left to fend for themselves. Kelley lost everything in the beginning. Her family, her house, even her small hometown in the state of Georgia. So she decided to leash up her dog, a Belgian Malinois named Bud, gather some supplies, and head towards Atlanta. She encounters a small group along the way. Survivors just like her, with stories and losses of their own. She soon becomes close to them, feeling like she has found another family, and she will do anything to protect them. This is a story of lost, love, survival, and surprises. The world doesn't care that you are alone, doesn't care if you're hungry, and doesn't care that death lurks around every corner. The undead feed on the living and the living can't be trusted. As the days pass and the world she knew was gone, she keeps a record of everything that has happened since first night. In a world where previous history is long forgotten, Kelley believes it is necessary to write down her journey and keep track of all things apocalyptic, so that maybe one day it will help others learn how to survive... and not make the same mistakes she has. So, let's start at the beginning.

...........::::::: Updates in progress! ::::::::.............. (This is currently version 2.0 soon to be the 3rd and final edit!) - work will be commencing shortly. OKAY SO... I have been umming are aring over whether or not to re-edit this a 3rd time. & I have come to the decision that I want to simplify and reset the story in a sense, by turning the story line back to it original roots. I want to keep it true to the original character more than it currently is. this will be the final edit I will not be changing it after this. I hope I have the time and the patience to do it justice. I have a very busy life atm so please be patient with me and again I'm sorry for altering it once again but I'm not entirely happy with some of the more recent editorial decisions I've made. x (((Concidering the removal of a charector from this and doing a rewrite...)))) "...The people you let in, they have a tendancy to rub of on you..." WARNING; Love, Death, Violence & Strong Language, Plus some Spoilers! (Comic Book & TV). Having mistaken Dixon for one of Negan's New Goons she ambushes both him and Aaron. Staying hostile towards him for most of her first month at Alexandria things eventually escalate for the pair, just as they start to get along. Negan doesn't take kindly to the fact Dixon has been hiding his traitor of a wife from him. Dixon feels strongly for Amber, having both lead fairly similar lives abused, abandoned, left to fend for themselves. Although Daryl and Amber are both drawn together right from the start they don't Instantly get along. Trial and tensions test their willpower & hearts.

If I tell you to leave me, then damn it, you leave and you don't look back." "Daryl," she sighed softly, shaking her head. "No, I mean it," he argued, encircling her wrist and jostling her a bit, begging her to listen. "I can't lose you. Not like that, not ever." His words were like lava bubbling in his throat, everything he had fought so hard to conceal was quickly rising to the surface. Fuck it. Any fear of rejection was overpowered by his need to make her understand. It wouldn't change how he felt, or the fact that he'd take on a thousand walkers if it kept her safe for even one more millisecond. "I need you around, Ace." "Always." ------------------------------ *I do not own any characters, scenes, or scripts from The Walking Dead.
