Mature
Elli was stuck in a remote island with her celebrity crush, Dan Thomas after an unfortunate accident. It could've been a happy coincidence having the guy of her dreams all to herself. But then it occurs to her that she might not be convincingly happy knowing that Dan was with her, not by choice but by chance.

What is the basis for a perfect love story?
A lot of people say it has to be perfect from the moment two people meet or else it's doomed to fail.

Most of us dream of a well-crafted love story but we can't seem to accept and believe it when it actually happens.

They say nothing is impossible, but does anyone truly want to test out that theory?

***
Witness as an ordinary girl faces a series of extraordinarily impossible occurrences that will definitely play with her heart. This might just be a story that tugs on your heartstrings. So brace yourselves.

Alison doesn't like hockey. It isn't so much the sport itself that she doesn't like, but rather the people who play it. Growing up the daughter of a local hockey legend with a superstar brother who follows in their father's footsteps, hockey players are all she has ever been around. After a bad break-up with her brother's ex-teammate, she swore off all hockey players for life. She is sick of hockey, sick of the players, and sick of Maukingnen Falls, but she can't seem to get away from any of it. Using her dad's connections in her career doesn't exactly help the situation, but she's determined to make a name for herself outside of the hockey world. If that means name dropping her famous family to get a few meetings so she can finally move out of her hometown and leave her reputation behind her, then she'll buckle up and deal with it. That is until she takes too much of an advantage dropping her last name and somehow ends up in the showers of her hometown's hockey team. Who catches her there? None other than the team's captain. Dylan Cavanaugh doesn't like his private life on display, but being the biggest player in hockey at his young age makes it hard to keep his private life private. Things blow up when his breakup with his Hollywood actress ex-girlfriend quite literally take over the town and he can't seem to escape the attention of every reporter and single woman he sees. When he finds out the real reason the woman he caught in the showers hates hockey, he makes a proposition that could benefit both of them. Now he's in a fake relationship to avoid having to continuously deny a real one because the girl he chose would never date another hockey player. The plan is flawless: fake a relationship to break away from her family name and save him from unwanted attention. This plan could get her out of Maukingnen Falls. It could get her family to respect her again. And it could get her toxic ex-boyfriend to finally leave her alone. What could possibly go wrong?

Book 6 in the It just Happened Series. (Can be a stand alone but to better understand it read Never Say Never.) Love is supposed to be grand. No one prepares you for the heartache and pain. Not in the manner that they should. I had it all! The perfect husband. Johnny, he was everything a woman could dream of. Until I lost him, then my whole world shattered once again. Then there is River Fox the one person who will just not leave. He made a promise to Johnny, one he will not let go of. When all I need is for him to do exactly that. He infuriates me to no end! I just can't get him out of my mind, and it kills me! Loss... Pain... Raising a child on my own, it's all too much. "Katrina." He never calls me by my name. It's always princess, stubborn, a pain in his ass. "Look at me." I can't because when you call my name it does things to me, I know it shouldn't! Desire... Longing... Hoping for something I shouldn't... Wanting to be loved again... "Please, just stop!" Do. Not. Cry. I have shed way too many tears. I can't take the guilt anymore. "Just go. Please!" The first tears fall as the door slams shut. I'm betraying Johnny, by wanting his close friend. Even though I try to fight, I can't resist him. I hate it! I hate him. Mostly, I hate myself for the desire I have for the one man I shouldn't. How did everything get so out of my control? In which I fall in love with my brother's best friend. ***** "Don't pretend like you don't feel anything." His voice is low, sending shivers down my spine. "What do you mean?" "You know damn well what I mean." "I don't know what you're talking about." I pretend to ignore him, flipping some pages in my book. "Come on. I have all these assignments waiting. Aren't you supposed to teach me tonight?" "It depends on what you want me to teach." He smirks, his voice sounding even more dangerous. ***** I thought that my brother was the most popular guy in school, but as soon as I step into my university life, I realize how wrong I was. Meet Vaughn Cooper, his best friend. The guy is the epitome of every girl's dream. Godlike handsome. The quarterback. He's got the looks, and he's got the brain. Come on, he's got the scholarship to one of the most prestigious universities in the country, while I have just barely passed the entrance examination after long years of struggle during high school. How could a guy who worked that hard and deserves nothing more but adoration be labeled as a bad boy? Yeah, the answer is simple. The moment we lock eyes, I realize something as I stare into those piercing, amber eyes. He's not every girl's dream. He's every girl's nightmare. In my case, MY nightmare. Calm down, heart. Our story hasn't even started. ***** THE SPENCERS SERIES BOOK #1 © 2020 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved.
