Come along to the coffee bar and meet Ludvig, Nicolas and Ruben, three young men who will be there for each other through thick and thin Ludvig takes his first year at Viktor Rydberg's high school. He has come to a class where he does not know anyone since earlier, which is nice, but at the same time it is exhaustive to try to find someone to hang with. Home of Ludvig is less good. Ludvig's two younger sisters and he, does their best to avoid each other, just as their parents seem to do. Through someone in Ludvig's class he gets tips on a coffee bar just behind Stureplan that is looking for extra staff. Nicolas begins the second year on the economic program at Östra Real. The year before was he a exchange student in the United States so the returning to Stockholm is quite difficult. He lives with his mother who raised Nicolas alone since his father early disappeared from the picture. One night when Nicolas is on his way home from his girlfriend, he passes a coffee shop at Stureplan. A sign in the window he reads that they are looking for staff. Ruben has started the second year on the theater program on Södra Latin and feel uncomfortable. From his inward safe growth in the Stockholm suburbs of Djursholm, he longed for a more open and creative environment. But what he thought would be his new beautiful theater style became something he despised. A friend takes him to a café, and despite he never had drank a cup of coffee in his seventeen years, his curiosity arises when he finds out they are looking for people. Three young men from different childhood conditions gets to know each other during an autumn that becomes both hectic and instructive. That the three of them become friends is given already from the very first moment.
