Yami is finding it difficult being away from everyone and now has returned to being Atem. A few years has passed and Yami finally has a mirror into Yugi's world and is able to see what he is up to. Unfortunately it isn't going well with Yugi as he is not the happy teen he used to be. Yami has had enough of watching and begs the gods to let him return and they do, giving him the body he used to have. What will happen when Yugi meets up with Yami again and when Yami has seen what has happened to Yugi. I do not own Yugioh or it's characters, I only own the plot. Yugi knows that he is in a better place, but never had a chance to tell Atem about his true feelings for him. Yugi discovers his heart disease, but wont be able to collect enough money for his treatment. He doesn't tell his friends about his condition, hoping they don't find out or ask about it. "I'm glad that both of you are happy together. Just know if you need anything from me, never hesitate to ask." Three years pass while Yugi is in more pain, only then his friends ask more about what is going on. Yugi won't tell them anything about it, but what happens when a familiar face returns. Unfortunately it doesn't turn out as good as Yugi thought. Tea, a girl who had once been his best and oldest friend had rejected and humiliated him, was back asking for Yugi's heart. In the storm of drama have Yugi realized that asking Joey for advice maybe wasn't the best decision he's ever made, and Yami realizes that there's still a small part of his past that hasn't come out in the light. Never could the two soul partners guess that such a small gap in memory could bring one of them so close to the door, leading to Heaven.
