"I mean seriously, Matt, you can smell when I walk into a room, hear my heart every time I lie! For fucks sake, you can taste blood in the fucking air! But you can't tell when someone loves you?!" I practically yell, outraged with what's going on between us. "Who ever said that, Daeva?! I knew the second you loved me!" He yells as he bolts out of his seat, causing him to groan in discomfort from the stitches. "Than why the games?! If you don't love me back you could have just told me." "You know your heart rate changes when you're about to say something, right?" He jokes with a knowing grin on his face. I bite my lip, hiding my smile before I press my lips onto his. "Now you're just showing off." I whisper as my hands travel to the back of his head, gripping onto his hair to push him onto me. 𓍊𓋼𓍊𓋼𓍊 One night after a long day at work Daeva Novak finds a bloody masked man in a dumpster in her rough neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen.
