"I mean seriously, Matt, you can smell when I walk into a room, hear my heart every time I lie! For fucks sake, you can taste blood in the fucking air! But you can't tell when someone loves you?!" I practically yell, outraged with what's going on between us. "Who ever said that, Daeva?! I knew the second you loved me!" But if it will goddamn make you believe me..." He grunts angrily, grabbing a hold of my wrist and placing my cold fingers over his fast beating heart. "Tell me doctor, is this the feeling of a lying mans heart?" He whispers, his lips grazing my ear. I take in a deep breath and close my eyes about to respond. "You know your heart rate changes when you're about to say something, right?" He jokes with a knowing grin on his face. I bite my lip, hiding my smile before I press my lips onto his. "Now you're just showing off."
