When Gerard was born, he couldn't see color. To him, everything was shades of dull grey and black. The burden of this hanging over his head like a sharpened blade, ready to fall. He never let his disbility control him though; in fact, he was headed to college to be an artist.
He and his brother, Mikey, leave everything they know for college; a chance to be someone in the world. Of course, all is not as it seems when he meets a boy.
Something about him is different; he has color in his eyes.
A frerard fan-fic, so if you don't know what that is, why are you here? But I seriously suggest if you don't know to listen to an album called Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge.

Gerard doesn't quite understand why his hair turned completely white when he was only nine years old. There's a list of things he doesn't understand, such as why he can't leave the house after 6pm or why his mother was frantic to cover his hair when they went on family outings.
