Rejecting the Alpha
I glared up at him my eyes narrowed, "Excuse me?" I was beyond livid by the words that just came out of his mouth. My glare didn't falter when Parker towered over me, clenching his jaw while trapping me against his desk. "You heard me." Parker's voice was low and intimidating that it made me feel so small. But I wasn't going to let him get to me. Standing up taller, I snapped, "I will not be your personal toy, available for you to do just as you please! I do not want to be held captive against my will, and not even have a say in anything. To be honest, I don't even want a mate." "You will do everything and anything I say, do you hear me?" Parker growled grabbing my chin and forcing me to look at him. Without even thinking I said the first thing that came to my head but meant every word. "I, Jasmine Davis, reject you Alpha Parker Mason, as my mate." * Jasmine Davis is the daughter of the Beta of the Moonlit Waters Pack. She's sarcastic and having a mate is that last thing on her mind. Jasmine gets the attention of most of the male population in her pack but she ignores them. What happens when Jasmine's mate happens to be the ruthless Alpha of the neighboring pack, the Lunar Shadow Pack. What happens when she doesn't want a mate especially, Alpha Parker? * [Highest rank: #1] [WARNING] - mild language and some steamy scenes* [Unedited] Read at your own risk! Best ratings: #1 in #ya, #sexscenes and #mates, #4 in #romance - - - - - PLOT: LILA KING is somewhat notorious in her old wolfpack - as a child she led a rebel crew of delinquents who caused havoc in the reserve and fought vampires. She was one of the best fighters in the pack, but following her best friend's death at 18 she left the pack to live with humans. For her 25th birthday, she finally returns, but only to introduce her werewolf family to a human fiance. What no one expects, though, is that at the party her family throws...she will encounter her destined mate. He is no other than DARIUS CARTER - the new alpha of the biggest wolf-pack in the region, holding a bad rep for killing the former alpha to assume his righteous position. But there is much more to him than just a pretty face and a fabulous six-pack... Can Lila fight destiny? Does she even want to? And why are those vampires starting to appear again with her return? ---EXCERPT: I hear people saying my name through the muffled sounds of my heartbeat banging in my ears. Then suddenly everyone in the room disappears and there are no voices. The only sound is that of his footsteps and the only scent is the most beautiful, sensual, masculine smell I have ever felt. Darius approaches me slowly at two feet away but doesn't stop. As everything seems slow-motioned, I try to step back to avoid a collision, but my feet won't listen. Instead, I take a step forward and we meet at only an inch apart. He looks at me so intensely, so passionately, that I feel devoured. Then he speaks. "Hello, mate." ____________ previous name: *ALPHA CARTER*Complete
Rejecting the Alpha
Kylie survived the brutal destruction of her pack only to discover her cold alpha mate was the one responsible for the brutal slaughter of her family and pack mates. She can't forgive and she won't forget. Kylie cooperates with his demands while she searches for a way to free the remaining survivors and herself. Success teaches her just how complicated mate bonds can be and gives her the chance to choose her own fate. "Screw the mate bond. If I went for his throat while he was driving in human form, I might be able to kill him right now, and if I didn't succeed, the resulting accident might. I leapt for the front seat, powerful jaw ready to rip out his throat as he had ripped out my family's to take my revenge. Without even taking his left hand off the wheel, he blocked me by getting his right forearm between my jaws. I bit down as hard as I could, wishing to break his bones and sever the limb. Worse, I felt the tingles of our first contact where violence had connected us. The iron of his blood mingled with the other scents around me." (This is a dark story, but not the stereotypical one where she falls in love with her captor. This is the story of escape from a toxic relationship and finding healthy love.) MATURE content including violence, dubious consent, intimacy, and mature and other possibility upsetting themes like threats of suicide and miscarriage. Not intended for the 18- crowd, sorry. #1 in Protective (10/23/21, 02/02/22) #1 in Pack (10/24/21)Complete
