Kasey Peterson, voted most likely to succeed, isn't doing well after college life. She has 2 low pay jobs just to survive in Atlanta, Georgia. Until one faithful day when her old friend Jack Cole comes to visit. He's only supposed to stay the weekend for a job interview, but when he gets the job he realizes he doesn't want to leave. He helps by paying half the rent and even makes dinner occasionally. With Kasey's life now slightly more balanced he wants to continue their high school extracurricular activity. Matchmaking. "Matchmaking isn't a career dummy." Kasey replied cleaning the apartment. "Yes, well-" "I don't have time for any more games Jack. We had our fun now we have to get our lives together." "What if I could find you a well paying job within the area? Then would you do it." Jack asked. "I don't know, probably." Kasey replied. "Well Kasey charge your laptop we got some matchmaking to do." Jack smiled. Cover currently by: _happy-days_ The cover will change out between the ones I have made, and had friends make every once and a while. "Okay, then allow me to offer a pact." He says, immediately making me a mixture of terrified and suspicious. "You say that I'm a jerk; a bully. So, why not change that my way?" "I don't like where this is going-" I begin, but he cuts me off. "Just listen." He comes closer, seating himself next to me on the curb. "You've made me lose 3 hot dates, and in my books, that's unforgivable. There was Bunny, the girl at the party, the red headed girl from Geometry, and that Grateful Dead hippy chick from the parking lot." I start to feel uneasy, like Jake is going to make me do something I am not going to want to do. "I think that I deserve some fun." He suddenly notices my face and smirks. "Not that kind of fun." I let out a well-needed breath, not noticing that I was even holding my breath until now. "An agreement," He smiles widely, liking whatever he has come up with. "Here's the rules." He hands me a piece of paper that he was keeping in his jeans pocket. I unfold it and stare at the messy handwriting.
