This is a new story written by Advisor for Pen Your Pride for Pride Month
Living in a family of homophobes is hard enough, but being gay in that homophobic family? Your life becomes a living hell. This is the story of how one boy who grew up with rainbows on dart boards meets a new friend. A friend who can help him realize that no matter who he is, he is loved and important.
The scenario is based off of a true story, most everything else is made up fiction.
Also please keep in mind that this is from the perspective of someone who was raised as a die-hard homophobe. (Like I was) Apologies in advance if there's anything here that's too offensive. If you like find something over the top and you're about to blow your top over it please tell me. I really don't want to hurt anyone out there too bad.

Broken Boundaries
A while ago the question of what if an alien is so cute, a straight guy can't help but still fall in love depite the alien being male, came to me. And of course, the idea for a new story was born soon thereafter. This is the result, my latest novel set in the science fiction Aoyu Universe as of this writing, and the first (and at this time only) gay/bisexual romance themed story that I've written. --- During the Earth-Silth conflicts, two commanders of opposing warships played a game of chicken at one of the outer known solar systems, the result being a head-on collision and two ships fused together at the bows. After the cease fire agreement plans were made to salvage what they could from the ships and Alain from Earth was sent as part of a two man crew to recover components from the Earth vessel while a team from the Silth would handle theirs. I started writing this before the Wattpad Purge, and I didn't want to go through the entire story and change their age to 18. I just don't want to get banned, so I'm saying that these characters are already 18, but they also have their 18th birthdays near the end of the book. I'm just being lazy to be honest. It's not gonna affect the book that much, just ignore it when they say in the early chapters that they are already adults or already 18. That shit doesn't matter. The quality of my writing in this book is pretty mid by the way. I'm a teenage boy that listens to 21 Savage, I feel like expectations shouldn't be high. I don't have writing skills the way many other writers on this site do, so don't expect some Shakespeare type shit. The characters in this book are similar to each other too.
