Dakota, a 10th grader thought she was quite normal like every other kid. Her parents got divorced when she 11 and with her dad in another state, she didn't see much to him anymore. After a terrible day at school, her life seems to take a toll on her an something much worse occurs, leaving her with a terribly hard choice to make.  Once her decision has been made she can't seem to focus anymore without thinking of what happened. Everything just replayed in her mind over and over again. She wanted to get out of the cycle. Then they finally decided to go to the place where her mom used to live. Then being at high school entering into a new school is tough. Although she have a brother who will be with her to this new school she is still nervous about the possibility of not fitting in.
