When Clint Barton is just six years old, he decides that it's time to run away from the foster system that hasn't been good to him and go to the circus. But as it turns out, running away is harder than he thought it would be, and he runs into a mysterious woman who is also running from her own ghosts.

With someone to protect and someone to protect him in return, Clint follows the mysterious K on the run, but K's ghosts are much bigger than his are, and Department H might just get them killed.

Cowritten with Canucklehead Cowgirl, this story borrows her OC (K) and runs with her.
