Elizabeth Morgan wanted few things in her life. To finish high school and one day have a family of her own and to be indepenant. Sounds simple and easy right? Not for Elizabeth who has had to be in a wheelchair since the age of four. She already had her heart broken once, so she gave up on her dreams and focused on her indepence. Then she gets paired with the school's quarterback Jesse Bennett working on an English project. Jesse is instantly smitten with the fun and friendly Elizabeth and doesn't care at all about her disability. I honestly didn't realize how broken I was. I just figured that if I shut all my feelings out that they would go away. They didn't. They came back strong as ever. And I did the worst thing that I could do. I let my feelings get the best of me. My daddy told me to never let anyone walk over me. And yet that is exactly what everybody does. It's like he knew that this was gonna happen like he wanted me to be prepared. Too bad I didn't listen. And now no one's here to help me. And then the new kid comes along. Jake Johnson.
